Standout Forward Percival Tenders With The Northeast Generals

Nov 12, 2020

The Northeast Generals of the North American Hockey League are proud to announce the tender signing of standout Forward Jake Percival. The 5’11” Forward will join the Generals after completing his senior season at the Millbrook School where he was a standout in 2019-2020. In 30 games this past season with Millbrook Jake had 21 goals and 25 assists for 46 points in just 30 games.

“Jake came to us with very strong recommendations from Kyle Quick with the Rochester Coalition. He is an elite skater who has a very powerful stride that he uses to blow past defenders. He is also incredibly strong on his skates and uses his lower body to drive hard to the net. What drew us to Jake initially was what a great kid he is. He fits the mold of exactly what we are looking for on and off the ice. On the ice he is a natural goal scorer that sees the ice real well. We need goal scorers and feel that Jake will fit in real well and be an impact player on Day 1.” said Generals Head Coach Bryan Erikson.

Rochester Coalition Head Coach Kyle Quick said of the Percival signing “Jake is a great two way player that has a huge upside offensively and has the ability to make guys on his line better players. He has been great for us this fall and we are very happy with his decision to tender with the Northeast Generals.”

Jake joins recent Tenders; Forward Jake Waterman of the Holderness School, Forward Tyler Ramm of the U18 Generals, Forward Nick Ramm of the U18 Generals, Forward Ethan Byrne of the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals and D man Jacob Kaminski of the NA3HL Generals.

The Northeast Generals have teams in the NAHL, NA3HL and NAPHL (U16/U18) and will be adding the Generals Academy in 2020-21. For more information please visit northeastgenerals.com.
