Schroeder Commits to Aurora College

Mar 8, 2022

The NAHL Northeast Generals are excited to announce that Forward Kyle Schroeder has committed to play his College hockey at Aurora.

Kyle is in his 3rd year with the Generals and has been a leader since day one.  He wears a letter and leads both vocally and through his on ice commitment to his teammates and the Generals program.  Kyle has played an astounding 189 games in the NAHL and amassed 22 goals and 55 assists for 77 points.  In a Generals uniform Kyle has played 112 games and put up 16 goals and 32 assists.  2022-23 has seen Kyle’s best offensive season as right now he has 8 goals and 20 assists for 28 points in 47 games.

“Kyle is an all-time General.  His ferocious style of play is contagious and unrelenting.  I have never coached a player that goes all out the way in which Kyle does.  He practices and plays a million miles an hour.  It is actually crazy to watch.  His impact can never be properly measured.  He does everything hard and well.  He hits like a truck.  He backchecks like crazy.  He forechecks great.  He blocks shots, he kills penalties, he is on the power play.  He just does everything well.  He is going to leave a huge hole next year that we will have a hard time replacing.  I am super proud that Kyle wore the Generals uniform and can’t wait to see what he does at Aurora.  They are getting a great player but better person.”  Said Northeast Generals Head Coach Bryan Erikson.

Aurora plays in the NCHA and had a record of 18-9-1 playing against powers such as Adrian College, St. Norbert and Lawrence to name a few.
