The Northeast Generals are excited to announce that 2 year Forward and Assistant Captain Charlie Reid has committed to play NCAA College Hockey at Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Reid, from Marshfield, MA, has played his entire hockey career within the Lovell Hockey family. First with the Boston Advantage where he was a standout at all levels. His last season with the Advantage under Head Coach Tim Lovell saw Reid put up 27 points. The following season Charlie joined the Generals and has been a key contributor.
In 2019-2020 Reid has played in all 38 games and has 2 goals and 10 assists for 12 points. He has also been huge on the PK for the Generals.
“Charlie has been amazing for us this season. He is a great kid that works extremely hard and just plays a solid 200 foot game of hockey. He is very physical, great on the walls and knows exactly where he should be in all situations. He has been a huge part of our team since last year and a really big part of us starting to turn it around on the ice in 2020. He does a great job in the locker room as well, he keeps guys honest in practice and holds them all accountable. Really happy for Charlie. Wentworth fits Charlie’s academic goals and athletic ones as well. Wentworth is getting a great player and person.”
