The Northeast Generals, proud members of the North American Hockey League, are excited to announce that standout Forward Jared Scott has committed to continue hockey and academic career at the University of Wisconsin at River Falls!

Scott has been with the Generals for 2 years.  During his time with the Northeast Generals Jared has shown a tireless work ethic combined with elite speed that has allowed him a tremendous amount of success on the ice.  In 101 games with the Generals Jared has tallied 27 goals, 33 assists for 60 points.

“Jared is an amazing young man.  He comes to the rink everyday ready to work.  His skating is incredible but so is his relentless work ethic.  He is just a great kid who I have really enjoyed coaching.  He is a very good hockey player that will have a ton of success at the next level.  River Falls is getting not only a great hockey player but a great person!.”  Said Generals Head Coach Bryan Erikson.

GM Matt Dibble added “I am very happy for Jared.  He gets to play his college hockey close to home for a program that is on the rise.  They wanted him and really showed that faith and confidence in him that we have.  Very proud of the person and player Jared continues to be and can’t wait to watch him have a ton of success at the next level.”
