The Northeast Generals of the NAHL are proud to announce the tendering of skilled goal scorer Ethan Byrne.
The 2003 Forward is from Mundelein, IL and is playing his 5th year with the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals in the T1EHL. In 2019-20 Ethan played 47 games and registered a staggering 44 goals and 30 assists for 74 points. Ethan uses his 6’0 frame to protect the puck and his strength to fend off defenders.
“We are thrilled that Ethan decided to tender with us for the 2021-22 season. He is a great kid that will fit in to our culture, which to us is the most important aspect we look for. But with us losing numerous Forwards to NCAA schools next year we needed to focus our scouting on guys that can fill the net and Ethan can do just that. He is a gifted goal scorer who has a great release on his shot and has excellent feet to beat defenders wide. 44 goals in a year is a monster year and he has been off to a great start in 2020. We think he has the ability to be a weapon in all 3 zones. Really looking forward to Ethan becoming a General.” Said Head Coach Bryan Erikson.
“Our assistant GM Cody Gonyeau did a great job of targeting Ethan early in the recruiting process and getting him signed. Cody does a tremendous job for us and I know that Ethan, like the other players Cody has signed, will be a great fit”
