The Northeast Generals are proud to announce the tender signing of skilled D man Stevan Blauert from the Academy of Holy Angels in Minnesota.
Stevan joins teammate and fellow Captain Caeden Phelps in this years tender class for the Generals.
Blauert is a right shot D man that stands at 6’2″ and will bring a great offensive presence to the Generals blue line in 2020-2021. So far this year the standout D man has 5 goals and 13 assists for 18 points in just 10 games. Increasing his career numbers to 14 goals, 47 assists and 61 points in 56 games played.
Cory Hunt, the Minnesota based, Northeast Generals Director of Player Personnel had this to say about the signing “I have had the pleasure of watching Stevan improve ten fold over the past few years at Holy Angels. His game has developed tremendously with him becoming a complete 200 foot player and this is directly credited to how hard he works. Stevan brings a great hockey IQ, an offensive mind set and the ability to lead his peers. Stevan is a captain and a 4.0 student which is exactly the type of high quality young men we are looking for. I am really excited to welcome Stevan to our organization!”
Added Head Coach/GM Bryan Erikson, “Academy of Holy Angels produces great hockey players but also really incredible young men. Coach Griswold does an amazing job of developing and fostering talent while also keeping players inline with his programs core values. This is one of the main reasons we look to this program right away for players. With Stevan we know we are getting someone on the upswing in their hockey journey. The amount of work he has put in is outstanding and we are excited for him to wear the Generals uniform.”
