Generals sign NA3HL Captain Thad Marcola to Tender!

Dec 17, 2018

The Northeast Generals of the NAHL are excited to announce the tender signing of NA3HL Captain Thad Marcola.

Marcola is in his second season as a member of the Generals organization.  The Almont, Michigan native has 48 points in 29 games so far this season after recording 25 in his 2017-18 rookie year.

“We couldn’t be more proud to have Thad join the NA team next year.  He is a testament to how hard work pays off.  He reminds me a lot of a few of our past players.  Guys that have dramatically improved by putting in extra time and extra work.  He works so hard on every aspect of his game and it has paid off on the ice.  Just a great kid, with a very high hockey IQ that we think will excel at the next level.”  said Northeast Generals GM Bryan Erikson.

NA3HL Generals Head Coach Darryl Locke had this to say.  “Thad has come a long way in a short time.  At the beginning of last year he watched a few games in the stands and instead of sulking or getting down he asked what he could do to get better.  And he worked so hard to improve.  Once he got in the lineup he never got out.  Started on the 4th line, worked his way up to the first line by game 25 and has been there ever since.  Really happy for him and it should show kids that hardwork really does pay off.”

The Northeast Generals are proud members of the North American Hockey League and North American Three Hockey League.  Information about the team can be found at northeastgenerals.com.
