Generals Forward Alden Chooses Plattsburgh

Apr 25, 2019

Northeast Generals Forward Hunter Alden has committed to play his College Hockey at Plattsburgh University.  The skilled forward joined the Generals halfway through the year and was a big contributor down the stretch.  He will now take his incredible puck skills to one of the best NCAA D3 school’s in the Nation.

“Hunter was an awesome addition for us.  We had a ton of injuries early in the season and acquiring Hunter was a huge piece of righting the ship.  Our turnaround started right after the new year and I don’t think that it’s  a coincidence that  was when we added Hunter.  He was more than we could ask for both on and off the ice.  He came to us and bought in from day 1.  Really happy for Hunter and can’t wait to see the success he has at Plattsburgh.”  Said Generals GM Bryan Erikson.

Added Head Coach Joe Lovell.  “Hunter was a big addition.  He played his first game for us on January 5th and from that point on we went 14-8-6 as a team.  Really helped us secure a playoff spot and was huge for us in all 3 zones.  I wish Hunter the best of luck in the future!”

Plattsburgh plays in the SUNYAC Conference and has won numerous national championships.
