The Northeast Generals returned home after a 1-3 showing at the NAHL showcase sporting a 2-4 record and hosting divisional rival Jameston.
The teams would remain scoreless through 2 periods of play with Noah West of Jamestown turning back 18 shots and Joey Stanizzi of the Generals stopping all 21 Rebel shots.
The 3rd period would be a different story as Rebel Lewis Crosby would score less than 3 minutes into the first period to give the Rebels a 1-0 lead. The Generals would be assessed a 4 minute double minor for high sticking and the Rebels would capitalize on a Ian Carpenter goal to increase the lead to 2-0.
Tyler Cooper would answer back for the Generals to cut the deficit in half 2-1 with 10 minutes to go. However the Rebels would answer quickly on a Jordan Cormier goal to make it 3-1 which is where the game would end.
The loss drops the Generals to 2-5 on the season so far with 2 more games to play against the Rebels this weekend.
