It has been a busy few weeks for newly named General Manager Matt Dibble. In the past 2 weeks the Northeast Generals have added 6 players to join the team.
The trades made were as follows:
• Generals acquire Defenseman Jayden Jenson and Forward Hunter Olson from the Austin Bruins along with a 2020-21 Tender in exchange for a 2021-22 Tender and a 2021 5th Round Draft Pick.
• Generals acquire Forward and Union commit Dalton Wright in exchange for a 2021 draft pick from the Bismarck Bobcats.
• Generals add Forward Matthew Boczar who started the year with the New Jersey Titans (scoring 3 goals in 9 games).
• Generals add Defenseman Alex Davis from the Charlotte Rush (1 assist in 2 games played with the Generals).
• Generals acquire Defenseman Jack McCarthy from the Austin Bruins in exchange for a 2021-2022 tender.
“Really excited to see the new guys suit up for us. Most of them are kids I’ve known for a while, so I am confident they will come in and compete every day.” Said GM Matt Dibble.
Head Coach Bryan Erikson added “Matt has a great vision for this organization and I love the moves he has made. We look forward to getting the new look Gens on the ice.”
